Are you or your loved one finding it increasingly difficult to care for your own feet? Fit feet and proper foot care become even more important as we age.
Let Sereniti Sole assist with servicing those needs. Sereniti Sole is a mobile foot care service, provided solely by Nurses. Our services are:
- Easy
- Convenient
- Flexible hours
- Nurses are Licensed and Insured
- All equipment and supplies are provided and chemically sterilized
Why choose Nurse Delivered Foot Care?
Our nurses provide non-cosmetic medical pedicures which are safe, effective, and comfortable. These services are provided in the comfort of your own home, place of residence, nursing home, assisted living, community center, hospice, or in a clinic-type setting, in sessions ranging from 30-90 minutes.
Nurses are highly trained in providing compassionate, client-focused care. Our understanding of infection control, combined with our nursing education, make foot care nurses the obvious choice for delivering foot care to those who are no longer able to care for their own feet, or have high risk medical conditions, such as diabetes, neuropathy, or peripheral vascular disease.
As we age, issues such as declining vision, lack of dexterity, and reduced flexibility and physical limitations can limit our ability to care for our own feet. Aging factors, such as thinning skin, loss of subcutaneous fat, medication use, and disease processes can especially place seniors at an increased risk for foot infections.
Access to safe, compassionate, foot care shouldn’t be a challenge! We are here to help.
Clinics to be announced as scheduled.

**Payment by cash, check, or credit card is due at the time services are rendered. Insurance is not accepted.
**Disclaimer: Foot Care Nurses are not Podiatrists or a Medical Doctor. They are not allowed to diagnose or prescribe. They will refer you to your Podiatrist, Primary care Physician, Dermatologist, or other as deemed necessary.
• There are barriers to obtaining routine foot care services from a Podiatrist, such as, transportation, being able to schedule regular appointments, long wait times.
• Some podiatrists no longer offer routine foot care as part of their services because of insurance/Medicare reimbursement issues.
• You can have a podiatrist AND a foot care nurse!
• Salons: Many are not staffed with people who are adequately trained in infection control, or they may not follow heath department standards at all. Most are not trained, or pay attention, the issues and concerns with Diabetic or elderly feet.
• A salon pedicure is a beauty product that often feels good. However, they are not geared to addressing medical concerns such as calluses, corns, thick/fungal nails, dry/peeling skin, and foot pain.
• Nurses are trained in infection control with equipment used on your feet.
• Nurses can help with early detection and prevention of issues that may arise with your feet.
• This is an out-of-pocket service. We accept cash, check, credit/debit card, or Venmo. Payment is expected at the beginning of each session.
• Medicare and many insurance plans do not cover routine foot care services, unless certain conditions are met. Even so, if an insurance plan does cover routine foot care, your deductible may not be met yet, or you may still have a co-pay, costing you as much, or more than our services.
• Our services may be reimbursable by your insurance provider. Please contact your provider to inquire.
• Feel free to compare our costs with a podiatry visit by contacting your local podiatrist and/or insurance provider.
• If you cannot reach your feet due to dexterity, disability, pregnancy, or for any other reason, we are here to help.
• Follow-up home visits average about 45-60 minutes and follow-up clinic visits average 30-45 minutes.
• Consents, HIPAA forms, Initial Assessments, and payment information will be obtained.
• Nails will be trimmed, filed, thinned, and whatever else they may need.
• Calluses and corns will be reduced if needed.
• Dry/cracked skin and heels will be addressed.
• A light foot massage will be provided after each session.
• Re-sizing of your feet to make sure you are wearing the correct shoe size. Shoes are inspected for wear and tear.
• Quality one-on-one time/socialization provided, especially in the home setting.
• Education will be provided in proper foot care and prevention.
• We do not provide foot soaks, due to the risk of infection and wound prevention.
• Our tools are chemically sterilized between each use.
• For home visits, we ask that all pets be secured, for the nurse’s protection, during our visits. And also, that A/C be provided and functional.
• Once the logistics are worked out, we will manage all aspects of the clinic.
• We only require a small space to operate a clinic. All we need is an electrical outlet, comfortable chair for the clients, access to running water.
• We clean up and return the area that was used to it’s previous condition once the clinic is complete.
• Most Podiatrists will only provide routine foot care services to clients who have underlying medical conditions, such as Diabetes, Peripheral Vascular Disease, or Neuropathy, due to insurance coverage limitations. And these services may only be offered every 6 months or so. Some clients can benefit from routine foot care more often than every 6 months.
• Podiatrists may not be willing to service those clients who have no underlying health concerns which would allow insurance to cover the services.
• Clients who simply cannot attend to their foot health due to physical limitations only.
• Cost effective for clients.
• We will need to visit the facility to introduce ourselves and what we offer, find out the facility expectations, assess the facility lay-out and the best location to hold the clinic, and to answer any questions you may have.
• We handle the logistics of the foot care clinic, taking any burden off of the facility. Of course, if there are certain areas that your facility would like to handle or assist with, that can be discussed in our introductory meeting. Our goal is not to provide any additional burden on the facility.
About
Dana Seidel, RN
Dana has been a Registered Nurse for 30 years, with experience ranging from Hospital Med/Surg, Home Health, Hospice, Dialysis, and Interventional Radiology. Originally from North Carolina, she relocated to Georgia in 2005. During her career as a Registered Nurse, it became apparent that foot care is a grossly underserved area in Healthcare, even though it has a significant impact on one’s health, with increased risk of falls, pain, infections (sometimes leading to amputations), and decreased mobility. Many podiatrists are no longer offering routine foot care services due to insurance restrictions, which puts limits on the availability of foot care services for our Seniors. This left the main options for foot care being by nail salons or family members, which could carry many risks. Upon research, Dana learned that a Foot Care Nurse can operate independently, under the guidelines of the Georgia Board of Nursing, if the work performed stays within the Nursing Scope of Practice. Upon discovering this fact, this lead her in a search of how she could help serve her community by addressing a much-needed service. She completed her Foot Care Training from The Foot and Nail Institute (www.footandnailinstitute.com) and receives on-going training through The American Foot Care Nurses Association (www.AFCNA.com).
On a personal note, Dana is also a wife of 25 years and a mother of 3 young adults. Her personal passions include her family, her faith, her love of crafting, doing her own acrylic dip/gel nails, and relaxing to watch a good movie or show with her husband. She also loves animals and currently has a Shih Tzu and fish.
“It would be my privilege and honor to assist you and your loved one with an extremely important, and often neglected, area of health. I would love the opportunity to support your quality of life, one foot at a time.” –Dana Seidel, RN
